Just in case anyone was actually checking this blog, I've moved my blogo-scrap-book-thingy to Tumblr. I just find Tumblr quicker to use, and slicker to look at.

Bradon's little corner of the world
This is Brandon Boyer's tumblr blog. It is filled with incredible things.
character hunter
Character Hunter is a blog about those little cute fuckers found all over Japanese packaging.
latest consuptions - vacation edition
- Uniwar - totally classic hex-based strategy on the go. Love it.
- Peggle iPhone -Ah fuck it, I love Peggle.
- Drop7 - 9 hour flight + Drop 7 + Growing = drugs.
- Primrose - Minimalistic puzzle game by Jason Rohrer, minus anything Jason Rohrer.
- Wolfenstien 3d iPhone - Utterly terrible port. Why does this game have blurry, blown up pseudo-pixels instead of crisp, beautiful sprites? Just give me classic Wolf3d, okay? Don't upscale anything.
- Lilt Line - Nice visual style, but sorta bland game design. It's just tilt controlled helicopter with some graphic design sense. Then again, it's cheep so whatever, it's worth a play.
- Reflexion - Breakout on crack with perfect touch controls.
- Eliss - I like. More like this, please.
.jpg)
- The Road - Total downer... but incredible.
- Wizard of Earthsea - It made me want to replay Windwaker.
- Tombs of Atuan - It made me want to replay Ico.
- Black Jack - Book 1 - Osamu Tezuka classic about a doctor super hero. Pulpy and cheesy as hell, but worthwhile.
- The Shadow out of Time - I don't know what it is about Lovecraft but his books are never scary... until I actually fall asleep. Then I always have the most horrible nightmare of my life.

- Up - Not as good as I hoped, but still full of Pixar goodness.
- Tales of Earthsea - I need more Earthsea!!!
- Street Fighter: The Legend of Chung Li - In-flight movie number 1, mind numbingly horrible.
- The International - In-flight movie number 2, surprisingly interesting. Clive Owen is a dream boat.

- Stanza - 51 books on my iPhone for free, including every Conan tale and everything HP Lovecraft. I love it.
- Buddha Machine - Ye ol' Buddha Machine, but on the iphone. Perfect, looping ambient goodness.
- TonePad - Very addictive, free music generator.
- 8bitOne - Fully functional chip tunes program. Really amazing.
while I was away...
Good things happened at capy, such as:
- Pocketgamer ploped us in their E3 Top 10.
- IGN nominated us for 4 Best of E3 Awards.
- Joystick wrote a nice Critter Crunch Hands On post.
- Brandon Boyer of Offworld wrote a great feature about iphone games, including CC.
- Other secret things.

Last week I checked out the HES gathering. It was a whole lot of fun. Toronto finally has a good indie game dev thing to look forward to. Thank you, people who made it happen, of which one is Jim Munroe... I think?

Nevermore 3 is pretty.
Nevermore 3 is a really really really beautiful 2d exploration game.
chrome experiments
Just started browsing through Chrome Experiments, a site showcasing a ton of really interesting experiments created in Google Chrome.
One of the ones that stuck out for me was Chormedomes, because it kinda relates to a game I'm making.
Chromedomes is made by Aaron Meyers, who has made quite a bit of awesome stuff, including YouCube.
